Dr Amy Gratton is a General Practitioner with a particular interest in metabolic health, weight management, women’s health, perimenopause and menopause, and metabolic liver disease. She takes a considered and patient-centred approach to care, with a focus on helping patients improve their health and wellbeing through practical, individualised management.
Dr Gratton graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2016. Prior to commencing General Practice training, she worked across hospitals in Melbourne and Brisbane, gaining experience in a broad range of medical and surgical settings, including surgical specialties, obstetrics and neonatology.
Amy values the continuity of care that General Practice provides and the opportunity to support patients over time as their health needs evolve. Her interests in metabolic and women’s health complement her broader approach to General Practice, recognising the complex interplay between weight, hormones, metabolic health and overall wellbeing.
Outside of medicine, Amy is an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
