Hayley Sullivan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a passion for helping people improve their health and confidence with food through compassionate, evidence-based care. She works across a range of practice areas including weight management, bariatric surgery, GLP-1 receptor agonist medications, type 2 diabetes, and binge eating disorder, supporting clients with both the physical and emotional aspects of nutrition and behaviour change.
Hayley graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours). Her commitment to advancing best practice is reflected in her contribution to published research — she was a co-author on a 2025 study examining antenatal care practices following bariatric surgery in Queensland, published in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This work reflects her dedication to supporting clients through unique and complex life stages and medical needs.
Hayley’s path into dietetics began on a deeply personal level. After her son was diagnosed with multiple food allergies as a baby, she found herself wanting to better understand how to safely and confidently manage nutrition for her family. That experience sparked a deeper interest in food, health, and the powerful role nutrition plays in everyday life — and it continues to shape her empathetic, practical approach with clients today.
This lived experience gives Hayley a genuine understanding of how challenging and emotional navigating food and health can be, and informs the safe, non-judgmental space she creates for every client.
Hayley is deeply motivated by seeing clients transform their lives — not just through changes on the scale, but through improved health, energy, and a more peaceful relationship with food.
Hayley is known for providing tailored support, practical resources, and a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their eating behaviours, build sustainable habits, and move forward with confidence.
She works closely alongside the MedSurg medical team, ensuring that nutritional care is fully integrated with each patient’s broader treatment plan — whether that involves weight loss medications, bariatric surgery, or lifestyle-based approaches.
