Requesting a Repeat Script Online
Existing patients of MedSurg Weight Loss can request a repeat prescription online — without needing to come in for an appointment. Here's how the process works.
Click the Book Now button at the top of our website, or use the Patient Portal button below. Select "Order Repeat Prescription" from the menu.
Complete the online form with your details and the medication you need repeated. Your request will be reviewed by your doctor.
If your doctor approves your request, your e-script will be sent directly to your phone by text message. You can then take it to your pharmacy.
What Happens If Your Request Is Not Approved?
If your doctor is unable to approve your script request online, you'll be notified and asked to make an appointment. This doesn't mean there's a problem — it usually means your doctor would like to see you for a check-up first.
Common reasons for a review appointment: you may be due for routine blood tests, a medication dose review, or your doctor simply wants to check in on your progress before continuing your prescription. It is very likely they will issue the script at this appointment.
